Coach Welly adds former IBM exec, eyes North American market
As it aims to expand into North America, the Australian health-tech company now has as good a guide as anyone.

Australia-based health technology company Coach Welly has added a former IBM executive to guide its expansion into the North American market.
The appointment lands weeks after the company was recognised with the Innovation Award at the 2024 Connected Health and Fitness Summit in the USA, and builds on a board that already includes Chairman Paul Bowman, one of the fitness industry's most successful chief executives following Wexer's multi-million dollar exit to Core Health & Fitness.
The move signals the company's intent to bring its AI coaching and member-engagement platform, already live with World Gym Australia, to gyms, insurers and workplaces in the world's largest fitness market.
